How long does a new concrete driveway take?

Most residential driveways are poured in one day once the sub-base is prepared. Tear-out, excavation, and forming may add a day or two depending on size and access. You can usually walk on it after 24 hours and drive on it after about 7 days.

How thick should a concrete driveway be?

For standard passenger vehicles we pour at least 4 inches of concrete over a compacted base. For heavier loads like RVs or work trucks, we recommend 5–6 inches with added reinforcement.

Should I repair or replace my driveway?

Isolated cracks and surface wear can often be repaired or resurfaced. But if your driveway has widespread cracking, heaving, sinking, or a failing base, replacement is usually more cost-effective long term. We’ll give you an honest assessment at your free estimate.

How do I make my concrete driveway last in Utah?
