Concrete Contractor Provo, UT — About Bedrock Concrete Pros
Bedrock Concrete Pros is a licensed and insured residential concrete contractor based in Provo, Utah. We serve homeowners across Utah County and the Wasatch Front with honest work, quality materials, and concrete that’s built to handle the real demands of Utah’s climate.
Who We Are
Bedrock Concrete Pros is a Provo-based, licensed, and fully insured residential concrete contractor serving Utah County and the greater Wasatch Front. Our license number is Utah Lic. #14282236-5501 — we carry it because homeowners deserve to know the crew pouring their driveway is accountable, not a fly-by-night outfit.
We work exclusively on residential projects. That means our entire focus is on the homeowner: clear communication from the first call, honest estimates, work that matches what we said we’d do, and a job site we’re proud to leave behind. We don’t chase commercial volume. We chase reputation.
Our team pours concrete the right way — with proper sub-base prep, correctly sized reinforcement, air-entrained mixes designed for Utah winters, and control joints placed where they should be. The prep work isn’t glamorous, but it’s what separates concrete that lasts 30 years from concrete that starts failing in 5.
What We Do: Full-Range Residential Concrete Services
We handle the complete range of residential concrete work — from a simple replacement sidewalk panel to a full driveway tear-out and pour, a decorative stamped patio, or a backyard sport court. If it involves concrete at a Provo-area home, we do it.

Why Utah-Built Concrete Is Different
Not all concrete work is equal, and Utah’s environment demands more than the basics. If you’ve seen driveways in Provo that are cracked, scaled, or heaving within a few years of being poured, bad prep and the wrong concrete mix are usually to blame. The Wasatch Front throws three specific challenges at concrete that a good contractor has to account for:
- Freeze-thaw cycles — Utah Valley goes through dozens of hard freezes per winter. Water that gets into concrete expands when it freezes, cracking and scaling the surface over time. Air-entrained 4,000 PSI concrete gives that water somewhere to go — tiny air pockets engineered into the mix absorb the pressure instead of letting it crack your slab.
- Expansive clay soils — Much of Utah County sits on clay that swells when wet and shrinks when dry. Without proper excavation and a compacted road-base sub-base, this movement heaves and settles slabs unpredictably. We excavate to the correct depth and compact road base before any concrete touches the ground.
- De-icing salt damage — Road salt and sidewalk de-icers are hard on concrete surfaces, especially in the first couple of winters while the slab is still gaining strength. We advise every customer to avoid de-icing salts on new concrete and to seal their slab every two to three years for long-term protection.
The result of getting these details right is concrete that looks good and holds up for decades — not just the first season. Read our guide on why concrete cracks in Utah for a deeper look at what separates long-lasting work from short-lived shortcuts.
