Can you grind down a raised sidewalk section instead of replacing it?

What is mudjacking and when does it make sense?

Mudjacking (also called slabjacking) involves drilling small holes in a sunken slab and pumping a slurry mixture underneath to raise it back to grade. It works well when the slab itself is structurally sound but has settled due to soil compaction or washout. It’s not effective when the base soil is heavily compromised by expansive clay or tree roots, or when the slab is badly cracked. A typical residential sidewalk slab costs $3–$8 per square foot to mudjack versus $9–$16 per square foot to tear out and replace — so when it’s appropriate, it’s a significant savings.

Do your ADA ramps meet city and UDOT requirements?

Yes.
